We are now expanding our footprint in the U.S. grocery sector and are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – Grocery Lead to drive this growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a business strategy to enter and grow in the U.S. grocery market

Identify and engage grocery retailers and wholesalers to drive new business

Collaborate with global Coppice teams on product offerings, marketing, and strategic alignment

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity

Represent Coppice at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums

Secure and negotiate contracts with clients, building long-term partnerships

Manage a dynamic sales pipeline and report insights to senior leadership

Champion Coppice’s commitment to sustainability and innovation within the grocery space

 


 

Key Skills & Experience

Proven sales and business development experience in the grocery industry

Strong understanding of U.S. grocery market dynamics, trends, and key players

Existing relationships within the grocery retail and wholesale segment

Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build a business from the ground up

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented

Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings, trade shows, and other engagements
