Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a business strategy to enter and grow in the U.S. grocery market
• Identify and engage grocery retailers and wholesalers to drive new business
• Collaborate with global Coppice teams on product offerings, marketing, and strategic alignment
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
• Represent Coppice at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
• Secure and negotiate contracts with clients, building long-term partnerships
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline and report insights to senior leadership
• Champion Coppice’s commitment to sustainability and innovation within the grocery space
Key Skills & Experience
• Proven sales and business development experience in the grocery industry
• Strong understanding of U.S. grocery market dynamics, trends, and key players
• Existing relationships within the grocery retail and wholesale segment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build a business from the ground up
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings, trade shows, and other engagements
