At Coppice, we believe that sustainability is not just about processes or products—it’s about people.

From our manufacturing floor in Bridgend to community projects in Malawi, our impact is shaped by the hands, minds and values behind the work. It’s why we’ve embedded social responsibility and employee wellbeing into every layer of our sustainability strategy.

Local Roots, Global Reach

Over 80% of our workforce lives within five miles of our factory—an intentional effort to support local employment and reduce commuting emissions. But our commitment to people doesn’t stop at our front door.

We’ve also contributed to life-changing initiatives far beyond the UK. Through our partnership with Pump Aid, Coppice has helped bring clean water access to more than 300,000 people in Malawi, powering public health, education, and economic growth.

Safer Workplaces, Stronger Teams

Internally, we’ve seen major improvements in safety performance:

  • 80% reduction in accidents over the last two years

  • Zero RIDDORs (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations)

  • Enhanced training and reporting systems site-wide

This progress isn’t just about compliance—it’s about building a culture where people are seen, supported, and equipped to do their best work.

Sustainability Means Everyone

Whether it’s split detection technology reducing material waste, or EV charging points encouraging greener commuting, every sustainability win at Coppice has people at its centre.

Because in the end, it’s not just the aluminium trays we make—it’s the people who design, shape, fill, seal, and deliver them—that define our impact.

We’re proud to build packaging that performs, protects, and progresses. And we’re even prouder of the people behind it.
