As New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, leading and driving new business growth opportunities across our portfolio. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base by generating high-quality leads and converting them into long-term, profitable business revenue. You will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess a strong "hunter" mentality, thriving in a target-driven atmosphere. With a passion for finding and driving new business development and a proven track record of closing deals, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities Include

Driving the expansion of our product portfolio in the commodity lines sectorIdentifying, generating and qualifying leads through targeted outreach and market research - cold calling capability and confidence is critical to this roleConverting leads into long-term, profitable client relationships, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutionsLeading all aspects of the sales cycle - initial contact to deal closure, with appropriate account management administration tasksDeveloping and maintaining robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring continuous flow of business opportunitiesCollaborating with marketing and design department, ensuring literature is up to date and relevant to target marketDeveloping and implementing strategies to increase market share and business revenueCollaborating with internal teams, aligning product offerings with client needs and market trendsCollaborating with Operations, Logistics and Procurement teams, ensuring product availability, timely delivery and quality assuranceReporting and forecastingTracking and reporting on business development activities - lead generations, sales performance and market insights via CRM platformCreating forecasts and sales reports for management to assess business growth and trends

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

Packaging industry knowledgeKnowledge of distributor model within industryDemonstrable success at lead generation and conversion into new businessHunger to grow revenue and unlock new opportunitiesEntrepreneurial, "Can Do" / "Hunter" mindsetExcellent interpersonal skillsDegree in Business Administration, Marketing or a similar relevant field is desirable

Ideally based within a commutable distance to site in the first instance - You must be prepared for regular travel, including overnight stays, to attend customer meetings
